IPSY/ August Glam Bag

Yey, another month another glam bag!! I'm happy to report that my second IPSY glam bag is finally here!! This month's theme was to fill the universe with peace, love, and magic.
I absolutely loved the bag, it has the perfect quote. "Peace Love Lipstick. " The bag has an ombre effect, with white and golden glitter letters,  and with a cute gold leather tassel.

KissMe April 2017
I received five items plus the cute make-up bag for only $10! Can't beat that price for trying out different beauty products.(Disclaimer: This review was not Sponsored by IPSY I paid for my glam bag and all opinions are mine)
My first item was a perfume sample by Juliette Has a Gun. (The name is pretty hard core lol) This is the perfect size to carry in your purse or when you're traveling. It is made out of a single ingredient cetalox and it is allergen free. It is one of their top sellers. I really liked the scent, it is woodsy and earthy,  not sweet or flowery.  I will definitely be wearing it a lot.
My second item was the mini universal brow pencil by Paula Dorf Cosmetics.  It is considered universal because of the taupe shade, it is flattering on almost everyone. The formula is very blendable, which is key to natural looking fill-in eyebrows. I'm excited to try it out since I usually use a powder base to fill in my brows.
For my third item I got the 103 contoure brush by Firma Beauty. This brush is not too big or too small,  it's the perfect size.  It is angled to trace the curves of your face without leaving harsh stripes on your face. The soft synthetic bristles hold powder without spillage. You can also use thus brush for highlighting. I don't currently contour or highlight my face, but I'll definitely use it for bronzers.
I was pleased with my fourth item,  I got the Balm Voyage Vol. 2 eyeshadow by theBalm Cosmetics. The shade was Willkommen, it is a deep caramel shade. It has triple-milled pigments, anti-aging properties, and it is a cruelty-free product. I plan to use it on my eyelid crease or use it as an eyelid liner by simply wetting my eyeliner brush.
Last but not least I was excited about the Coconut blush duo by Pacifica! It has the shade Beaming, a muted terracotta and Tenderheart, a soft mauve. You can wear them separately or layer them to create a custom shade. Coconut is part of their ingredients, which is beneficial for it's anti aging properties. The shades are buildable,  for a subtle look just do a quick swipe or pack it on for a bolder look.

Here is my complete look using IPSY August glam bag in conjunction with products I already owned. I used the mini universal eyebrow pencil, and the Balm Voyage Vol. 2 Willkommen eyeshadow on my crease. I decided to combine the coconut blush duo starting with Tenderheart and then Beam.  I used my contour brush to apply the blush.
I absolutely loved all the products I received this month. My make-up collection is slowly growing and it is exciting to know that I'm getting happy mail every month! Not only that I'm discovering new brands and learning tips on how to use certain products. Hope you liked my review and if you are considering joining the IPSY Glam Squad I hope this was helpful. What beauty subscription boxes are you currently subscribed? Let me know I'm curious to know what else is out there.

Women's Watches: Where to Shop for Unique Timepieces

Tick tock, tick tock. Time is slowly creeping up and I'm making sure to make the most out of it. As a mommy of two, I stop and stare at my two beautiful daughters I began to reminisce on the day they were both born. Oh such tiny little babies they were and all I can think is poof they've grown in a blink of an eye. I am soaking up every moment and making memories with them because I want them to always remember all the good TIMES we've experienced. Thanks to JORD on my wrist, it is a daily reminder to cherish my precious time. JORD is based in St. Louis. They design sophisticated watches with mix of natural, and largely re-claimed materials, combined with quality movements and components. JORD are best known for their unique hand crafted wooden watches. I consider myself minimalistic when it comes to watches. When I saw THE CASSIA it caught my attention because I knew it was perfect for me! It is thoughtfully styled with a Scandinavian design in mind. The band is ...
