Target / August Beauty Box

Okay, I have to confess something... I may be addicted to beauty boxes!! ( Glad I got that outta my chest lol) I found out that Target offers a beauty box every month, I was like "WHAT!!"
Every month they put together a box for you to purchase online for $7, pretty cool right! It is NOT a subscription box, so there is no commitment. They put together a mix of trial and full size products for you to try out, and you know exactly what your getting. What I love about this box is that you can add it to your daily regimen. It is a great way to try products and if you like them you can purchase to full size version. So to sum it up you only pay $7 for the value of $21.

August beauty box was about getting back on track to your daily routine now that summer will be over. This box contained six items; Dove Clear Finish Dry spray Deodorant, SpaLife Nourishing Facial Mask, Herbal Essences Argan Oil Shampoo, Up & Up Facial Wipes, Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, and Garnier Clearly Brighter Daily Scrub. Below I'll share some info about the products, and a review. (Disclaimer: this review is NOT sponsored by Target, I bought this with my own money, all opinions are mine. I'm sharing because "Sharing is Caring.")
Dove Clear Finish Dry Spray Deodorant - It is a 3.8 oz antiperspirant spray goes on dry. It offers up to 48 hours of odor and wetness protection. I've been wanting to try a spray version for a while since most leave a residue on my clothing. I was excited to see that it was the full size version!! It smelled pretty refreshing almost like roses and so far I prefer spraying my underarms.
SpaLife Nourishing Facial Mask - It is a 1 count mask. It is loaded with natural fruit extract, this facial mask nourishes skin and brightens complexion. Who doesn't love a good spa day? I love trying different masks, this mask is an orange scent. It smelled so good, I almost wanted to eat it lol. My face really needed to be re-energized so I went ahead and used it ASAP. It left it smooth and refreshing.
Herbal Essences Argan Oil Shampoo - The bottle was tiny a 1.4 oz, good for traveling for a few days. It is color-safe formula infused with argan oil, aloe and sea kelp help to nurture, smooth and repair hair in just 21 days. This came in a Aragon Oil scent, they offer other types of scents if you want to try other ones. I was curious about this shampoo since I currently use an aragon oil to keep my hair shiny and frizz free.
up & up Facial Wipes - This was a full size 25 count facial wipes. The wipes contain vitamin E, aloe, chamomile, green tea leaf and cucumber remove dirt, oil, & waterproof makeup. I've actually used this product in the past, every now and then I do buy it. It does an okay job removing my makeup but I still do the whole face wash, and other products to remove the rest of my makeup.
Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips - I was a bit disappointed that it was just 1 count. It cleanses and unclogs pores in just a few minutes. Apply to dry, clean skin. Remove when strip is stiff. I actually buy this product because I do get blackheads and whiteheads on my nose. I really love the product because it does exactly what it says. I don't know if it's just me but it's fun applying this on my nose and taking it off to see all the impurities come out. Makes me feel so "Fresh and so Clean." lol
Garnier Clearly Brighter Daily Scrub - This was a trial size of 1oz. It is a non-drying formula helps to refine pores, even skin tone and wash away dirt, oil and makeup in one. I have never tried this brand before so I was curious about it. It came in an orange scent, and smell pretty good.

Overall, I really liked Target's Beauty Box, because these are actual products that I have tried and worth the $7. Considering you get a few full sizes, which is a good deal, since it is valued at $21. I'm definitely going to get a lot of uses on these items. Well I'm off to my spa day with my beauty box!! Hope this review has been helpful if you have been considering Target's beauty box, make sure you check the first of the month online for September Beauty Box. They sell out fast, they no longer have the August box. Also, they give you a $3 off coupon and they email you a 15% off code for your next beauty purchase incase you want to buy any of the full size versions of any of the products. Let me know what other beauty boxes you are loving right now?

  1. Here, here! Total subscription box addict myself. I think I have at least 3 🙈

This is cute that you get tasters for products. Didn't even know Target did something like that. But then I do live in the UK 😅

  2. I also love subscription boxes! I purchased one from Target before and I did love the samples, but I always forget to go online to check for the next month's box!
