Target / January's Beauty Box

It's been a while since I've purchased a Target beauty box, I've only ever purchased one, their August beauty box. (You can read that review here) I've opted out on the rest of them because they weren't for me. However this month's box looked amazing I had to have it lol.
If you aren't familiar with Target's Beauty Box it is NOT a subscription box you purchase them the first of every month, they are usually $7. They include deluxe and sometimes full size products. You can sample them before you buy the full size and they include a coupon of $3 if you decide to purchase their full size.

This months theme was Staycay, which is a vacation right at home. After all the holidays this momma needs all the Staycay ever! Inside this box, you’ll find a few beauty faves that’ll help get you get restored and radiant. They included seven items which were; hair mask, body exfoliator, face mask, body wash, face moisturizer, liquid lipstick, and shampoo. Below I'll share more information and swatches. (Disclaimer: this review is NOT sponsored by Target, I bought this with my own money, all opinions are mine. I'm sharing because "Sharing is Caring.")
Nexxus Humectress Hair Mask
Pure elastin protein intensely moisturizes hair and targets dry spots while glycerin binds hydration. I'm always excited about hair mask because my hair needs all the help since it is dry and brittle so I'm hoping this hair mask gives it LIFE. I will keep you all updated after I use it.
Dove Gentle Exfoliating Body Polish
Crushed macadamia nut & rice milk formula softly exfoliate for nourished, smoother-feeling skin. Sometimes even our whole body needs exfoliation and I haven't done that in a while so I'm actually glad I got this in this box. Time to get new glowing skin.
Pretty Animalz Tiger Sheet Mask- Tiger
Witch Hazel gently removes impurities while soybean & mushroom extracts help hydrate skin. I've been wanting to try these masks for a while now. I want to channel my inner Tiger lol Rawr! I love Spa time right at home. Makes me feel hydrated and recharged ready to take on mom life!
Mrs. Meyer’s Body Wash
A unique blend of essential oils, aloe vera gel & honeysuckle fragrance delicately refresh skin. The body wash scent I got was ( ) and it smells so good makes you want to stay in the shower all day, but then you remember your a Mom and you only get 5 minutes of shower time so hey let's make it the best of it!

Vichy Mineral 89 Face Moisturizer
Mineralizing thermal water enriched with 12 minerals and hyaluronic acid. This is another brand I've been wanting to try and finally I get to try it. I used to be the type of person that just blotted whichever lotion on my face or even worst I wouldn't even wear lotion/moisturizer!! No wonder my face was so dry and dull. Hey you live and learn right. Now more than ever I'm always looking for a great FACE Moisturizer.
CoverGirl Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick
Infused with nourishing ingredients for high-definition creamy color. Last month I received a CoverGirl Melting Pout Metallic Lipstick you can read my review here and I was excited to see it in this box! The shade I received in this box was ( ). I really liked the shade and the formula. What I really like about this packaging is the cushioned applicator it is so smooth when applying.
OGX Biotin & Collagen Shampoo
Powerful thickening & texturizing formula helps volumize any hair type. My hair is thin and any thickening would be welcome. This is a great size to test out, I will have to keep using it until I run out to see the results. I will keep you all posted in a few weeks, so stay tune!
Target's January beauty box was amazing for just $7. It had a little bit of everything from hair, body, skincare, and makeup. It is exactly what this month calls for...StayCay! Excuse me while I go have some ME TIME! This box is still available to purchase at Target's website I will link it below if you are interested. They also had another beauty box which was also hard to resist, which I will review tomorrow so stay tune!! Hope this review has been helpful and remember to treat-Yo-Self!!

Keep Me Safe Organics / Skin Care Review

Hello darlings, today I have a beauty product review from Keep Me Safe Organics!

The company carries organic, toxic free beauty and skincare products. I believe that taking care of your face is important since it is the first thing everyone sees so make it a lasting impression. I'll be reviewing their skincare line, which are the facial cleanser, facial toner, facial moisturizer, serum, and rejuvenating glacier mud mask. (Disclosure, all products provided by Keep Me Safe OrganicsAll my opinions are mine and I'm keeping it 100%.)
In order to give you my honest opinion, I tested the products for three days and made a video documenting my results after using all the products. I will post the video below. Let's talk about my skin issues before using the products; I suffered from dry flaky skin, red blotchy patches on my cheeks and of course acne. I'll be reviewing each item and tell you a bit more about them.

LBD Goodwill Challenge

Happy Thursday fashionista's! I've been a bit MIA on my blog lately, but today I'm back with an exciting post. If you have been following my blog for a while then you might remember me talking about Phoenix Fashion Week. Each year they host a challenge, which consist of illustrating your perfect little black dress. They choose the top four illustrations which then you get to bring to life. In which the designers showcase it in Phoenix Fashion Week's annual fashion show. This year they had a completely different challenge.

The little black dress challenge was presented by Goodwill of Central Arizona and Phoenix Fashion Week. You had to shop at one of 67 locations, find a project dress, up-cycle, re-purpose it into your own perfect little black dress. The dresses would then be turned in by Saturday 26, 2015. Which would then be judged by up-cycle expert Angela Johnson. They select the top four designs. Once chosen 25% of the votes would come from social media and 75% …
