Bless Box/ September

Happy New Year! Woot woot 2018 here we come!! 2017 was full of blessings wouldn't you agree! What better way to celebrate your blessing than with Bless Box! If you aren't familiar with this subscription box it is a lifestyle, health, and beauty box for $29.99+ $7.50 for shipping. They offer different plans if you are looking to save a few bucks. This box was on my subscription Christmas list for a while and lucky for me they had a great sale during Black Friday!
Honestly it was quite a headache with their system and customer service they had some sort of glitch but thank goodness everything was sorted out! They didn't mention what box I would be receiving, I was hoping and crossing my fingers it would be October's box but that wasn't the case I received September's box. Either way this box was jammed packed with goodies!
The box was a collaboration between Bless Box and eight year old Giana. She created this beautiful artwork on the exterior of the box. She is very talented little artist wouldn't you say. I love all the girlie makeup that she illustrated, it makes the box extra special.
Since this is September's box the theme was Fall into Autumn. The box was valued at $164.96 at $37.49 not too shabby. Moving on to the goodies inside the box; in the skincare category; moisturizer cream, peel mask, exfoliating peel mask, warm mask. In the beauty category; lipstick, lip liner, eyeliner, and eyeshadow palette. In the health section they've included; wheatgreen tablets, coconut chips, lemonade packages. The other two items is a bracelet and an essential oil. These are a total of thirteen items, plus they've included coupons! I'll be telling you more about each item, mini review, and swatches below.
Yu-Be moisturizing cream
This has been Japan's best seller for over 50 years! It is designed to be intensely, moisturizing, and effective. You can apply it anywhere from your face, elbows, knees, or feet. Since it is very concentrated make sure to use a little bit.
Beauty Infusion Revitalizing Peel of Mask
The pomegranate and peptides are infused in this mask are gentle and helps boost your skin's radiance and resilience. If you have sensitive skin this is perfect because it won't irritate your skin like other harsher and aggressive peel off masks. It always great to have a little Me Time to relax for 15 min and recharge your skin. This mask is great just make sure to apply a good layer because it's hard to peel off if it's a thin layer.
Skin Inc. Pure Revival Peel
Adding an exfoliating step to your skin care routine is essential. This peel is perfect for all skin types as it is gentle and non-abrasive, while still removing dead skin cells and prepping your skin for your nightly serum or moisturizer.
Chaleur Heat Penetrating Mask
The mineral Self-heating mask hydrates skin,  soften fine lines, increases circulation, and open up pores. Aside from being so soothing, the heat helps ingredients penetrate deeply to your skin. It feels amazing!
STILA MATTE'ificent Lipstick
This is a pretty in pink lipstick, perfect for all year round. The formula is soft, so it won't stick, crack, or dry your lips.

(Swatches) Top: Lip liner
Bottom: Lipstick
STILA Stay All Day Lip Liner
This is the perfect match for your lipstick, match made in heaven. If you want a cleaner lipstick then a lip liner is a MUST! This lip liner is soft every stroke. One of my favorite things about it is no sharpener required, just simple twist it.
Doucce Smudge Resistant Eyeliner
I don't know about you but there's nothing worse than an eyeliner that doesn't stay put. No one likes to wear raccoon eyes! This eyeliner is soft and smudge resistant. It creates the perfect cat eyes or you can wear it on your waterline for a dramatic look.

 (Swatches; Perfect, Gorgeous, Enchanting)
(Swatched;Flawless, Stunning, Alluring)
(Swatches; Incomparable, Impeccable, Divine)
RealHer Eyeshadow Palette
This makeup brand is built to inspire, empower, and uplift women. I'm all about that, it's pretty amazing we need more of this positive vibes if you ask me! The palette is perfect for fall as it has browns, nudes, and plume tones. This palette has been my go to lately it isn't too pigmented it has the right amount of tones. If you are looking for an everyday makeup or don't like the drama then this palette is a must in your palette arsenal. They are smooth, blend well, and come in three different finishes matte, satin, and shimmery.
CitraGreen Wheatgrass Tablets
These tablets are vegan and make it easy to add a daily dose of concentrated amount of iron, calcium, vitamin A, and C to your daily routine. You can add this to any drink such as a smoothie if you're not a fan of the taste.
Dang Caramel Seasalt Coconut Chips
This is also vegan, Paleo-friendly, and gluten free snack that only has three ingredients. They taste delicious and are addicting! Once you start I can assure you you'll be done with the bag and want more. They are a sweet snack that also gives a boost of energy throughout the day, perfect for me as I'm trying to cut back on coffee. This is a guilt-free if you love munching. You can use this as a topping for a salad, yogurt, or even popcorn.
True Citrus Original Lemonade
This may not be your typical fall drink but hey we all crave a little lemonade from time to time. This powder is real lemon juice, how crazy is that! Just simply add it to your water  and drink up. If you are looking how else to use it check out their website they offer tons of recipes. Me personally I'd add a pinch of sugar or honey as it is a bit sour.
Pura Vida Bracelet
These bracelets are beautifully hand crafted by artisans all over the world!  Each purchase goes towards charities to promote health, wellness, and sharing Pura Vida. It's amazing how a simple bracelet can be a blessing to other's. I will definitely wear it proudly!
ArtNaturals Signature Essential Oil Roller
Essential oils is a great way to add a little boost to your day, cause you know this momma needs it. Their jo joba oil based formula is great for topical use. Apply it to your wrists, temples, back of your neck, and your souls and inhale!
This box was definitely full of a lot of amazing new products and it's a mix of health, beauty, and lifestyle. If snacks are included it's even better lol!! I absolutely liked the Dang Coconut Chips best discovery ever! I've been using the RealHer eyeshadow palette lately it's becoming my go to. Keep Me Safe Organics / Skin Care Review

Hello darlings, today I have a beauty product review from Keep Me Safe Organics!

The company carries organic, toxic free beauty and skincare products. I believe that taking care of your face is important since it is the first thing everyone sees so make it a lasting impression. I'll be reviewing their skincare line, which are the facial cleanser, facial toner, facial moisturizer, serum, and rejuvenating glacier mud mask. (Disclosure, all products provided by Keep Me Safe OrganicsAll my opinions are mine and I'm keeping it 100%.)
In order to give you my honest opinion, I tested the products for three days and made a video documenting my results after using all the products. I will post the video below. Let's talk about my skin issues before using the products; I suffered from dry flaky skin, red blotchy patches on my cheeks and of course acne. I'll be reviewing each item and tell you a bit more about them.

LBD Goodwill Challenge

Happy Thursday fashionista's! I've been a bit MIA on my blog lately, but today I'm back with an exciting post. If you have been following my blog for a while then you might remember me talking about Phoenix Fashion Week. Each year they host a challenge, which consist of illustrating your perfect little black dress. They choose the top four illustrations which then you get to bring to life. In which the designers showcase it in Phoenix Fashion Week's annual fashion show. This year they had a completely different challenge.

The little black dress challenge was presented by Goodwill of Central Arizona and Phoenix Fashion Week. You had to shop at one of 67 locations, find a project dress, up-cycle, re-purpose it into your own perfect little black dress. The dresses would then be turned in by Saturday 26, 2015. Which would then be judged by up-cycle expert Angela Johnson. They select the top four designs. Once chosen 25% of the votes would come from social media and 75% …

Behind the Seams I

It's been a while since I've done a custom design or a Behind the Seams segment. Today I will be sharing with you my latest work. A month ago I was contacted by a young lady to design a gown for a wedding she was attending mid April. She sent me a picture of a mermaid dress she had stumbled across. The problem was that she wouldn't be able to get it delivered just in time for her event. I came to her rescue j/k. I met with her took down her measurements talked about fabric choices and any other details.

Here is a sketch of the design.
The design consisted of a mermaid silhouette, the neckline was almost like a racer back. The back was exposed with tiny spaghetti straps. The back skirt had a tiny bustle. The hem had tulle peeking out all around.

The chosen fabrics were red peach skin, red lining, and black tulle. The notions that were used included an invisible zipper and thread.

I generally like to drape my patterns on the dress form over flat pattern. This method seems fa…
