Vive Cosmetics Review

Hola mis lindas mujeres! Today I'm so excited to share Vive Cosmetics with you! They are more than just a makeup brand they celebrate and honor our different stories, skin tones, languages and origins. Vive Cosmetics is a beauty brand created for Latinas by Latinas! This makes me feel like I belong and so happy to see them use models that are my skin tone!
They are a relatively new cosmetic line so they only have a few products. They started with eleven Que Matte Liquid Lipsticks at $19 and recently launched four Cremosa Matte Lipstick at $17. I really love how creative they name each shade como Spanglish, Luchadora y Chingona to name just a few.
My first impression on their packaging was a fiesta in a bag! (Cue the Mariachis) It was filled with orange filler paper, a heart paleta (lollipop) a motivonal sticker "Eres Magia" and a cute post card designed by Yocelyn Riojas.
The lipstick came in a beautiful and vibrant colorful box with floral artwork. It definitely captured beauty con cultura! I received their new Cremosa Matte Lipstick in the shade Lupita! My name is not Lupita but Oye" I was channeling my inner Lupita!

The lipstick tube is a basic black which I was expecting it to be as vibrant as the packaging pero what matters is what is on the inside que no?
If you don't know by know, I love me my nude shades and Lupita is a beautiful rose nude.  It glides on smoothly y esta muy pero muy CREMOSA! It is also, comfortable to wear and moisturizing. Even though it is not beso proof aka transfer proof, it is long lasting.

I put it to the test after having my cafe con leche, pan dulce (which they also have those shades available in those names) tacos, elote, churros, y una agua de Horchata lol. Ok by now you get the whole idea that I can eat and Lupita is still holding on strong!
Here's Me after 5hrs about to call it a night just to give you an idea of how the shade Lupita held up.
Not only is Vive Cosmetics a Latina brand but they are vegan, cruelty free, and paraben free. Their formula is full of antioxidants and protects lips against free radicals!
Now that you know about Vive Cosmetics it's time to get a few goodies for yourself or for the Maria or Lupita in your life! Y porque somos Amigis get 20% off your total purchase using code ViveCremosa! Let me know below if you've already heard about Vive Cosmetics and what have you purchased from them? Comment below if your name is Lupita or Maria and you're planning to purchase your lipstick shade?

Keep Me Safe Organics / Skin Care Review

Hello darlings, today I have a beauty product review from Keep Me Safe Organics!

The company carries organic, toxic free beauty and skincare products. I believe that taking care of your face is important since it is the first thing everyone sees so make it a lasting impression. I'll be reviewing their skincare line, which are the facial cleanser, facial toner, facial moisturizer, serum, and rejuvenating glacier mud mask. (Disclosure, all products provided by Keep Me Safe OrganicsAll my opinions are mine and I'm keeping it 100%.)
In order to give you my honest opinion, I tested the products for three days and made a video documenting my results after using all the products. I will post the video below. Let's talk about my skin issues before using the products; I suffered from dry flaky skin, red blotchy patches on my cheeks and of course acne. I'll be reviewing each item and tell you a bit more about them.

LBD Goodwill Challenge

Happy Thursday fashionista's! I've been a bit MIA on my blog lately, but today I'm back with an exciting post. If you have been following my blog for a while then you might remember me talking about Phoenix Fashion Week. Each year they host a challenge, which consist of illustrating your perfect little black dress. They choose the top four illustrations which then you get to bring to life. In which the designers showcase it in Phoenix Fashion Week's annual fashion show. This year they had a completely different challenge.

The little black dress challenge was presented by Goodwill of Central Arizona and Phoenix Fashion Week. You had to shop at one of 67 locations, find a project dress, up-cycle, re-purpose it into your own perfect little black dress. The dresses would then be turned in by Saturday 26, 2015. Which would then be judged by up-cycle expert Angela Johnson. They select the top four designs. Once chosen 25% of the votes would come from social media and 75% …
