Boxy Charm/February Unboxing+Review

It's BoxyMail Time, this month's theme is Galaxy Glow. It is definitely giving me all the Space Jams vibes. If you aren't familiar with BOXYCHARM it is a beauty subscription for $21 a month. Usually you get 5-6 full size products!
Based on the theme I thought that the products were going to be vibrant, glowy, or have a neon effect. There were so many variations on their IG that I was not sure if I was going to like this month's box. The five items that were included in my box were a highlighter palette, shimmer veil, eye pencil, glitter, and trio brush set. (Disclaimer: this review is NOT sponsored by BOXYCHARM, I bought this with my own money, all opinions are mine. I'm sharing because "Sharing is Caring.")

NAKED COSMETICS
Holographic Highlighter Palette retails $39.99
This palette comes with six stunning holographic shades. Each iridescent shade is perfect for highlighting and layering to transform any look into something whimsical. I'm still experimenting with highlighting. I really love how it looks when your taking photos. Not as an everyday look it is a bit much. I still don't know if I'm completely in the bandwagon, because some people will think of you as a glazed donut, believe me I'd rather eat one than look like one lol.
COVERFX
Shimmer Veil retails $28
These multi-use, shimmering cream colors are crease-proof enough for the boldest of eye looks. It is formulated with a weightless finish for a shimmering effect anywhere on the face. You can apply this as a highlighter, or even on your lips. Very unicorn or mermaid vibes if you ask me, perfect for an avant-garde makeup or Halloween look.
VINTAGE COSMETICS
Smokey Eye Pencil retails $21
This is a richly pigmented smokey eye pencil delivers intense jet-black definition. This is a soft formula that glides on your lid without tugging or pulling. It would have been fun if this was a different color other than black to tie it in with the theme don't you think? Perhaps a blue, pink, or neon green!
BELLÁPIERRE COSMETICS
Cosmic Glitter retails $15
This is an ultra-fine loose face and body glitter. Yes glitter is definitely making a comeback! I probably won't wear it on my body but on my eyelids. This is a very vibrant blue, it really goes perfect with the highlighter palette.

CROWN PRO
Trio Brush Set retails $29.99
This trio set is perfect for contouring your face. The small brush can be used to conceal imperfections and highlight underneath the eyes. The medium size brush can be used to sculpt the cheekbones and perimeter of the face. The larger brush is used to set everything in place. Because this are white brushes with pink tips, they will require extra care. (Tip: wash your brushes at least once a week, your skin will thank you and your brushes will feel like new!) The bristles are so fluffy and soft great quality.

I finally accumulated enough Charms, which are points to redeem towards their Charm room. They stepped up their game and added a great selection of products. Just before everything was gone I was able to get a liquid lipstick. I'm pretty excited to try this shade it is pretty vibrant and unique. I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to colors, I normally wear a nude or rose shade. Aesthetica Long Lasting  Matte Liquid Lipstick in Splendor and retails at $16. This lipstick is bold perfect for a date night.  It is formulated to last for hours without becoming dry or cakey. I really love how smooth it feels and doesn't feel dry even if it's a matte finish.
Overall this was not a bad box but it would have been appropriate for Halloween, just saying. I just don't see myself wearing a lot of these products as an everyday look. I'm pretty excited about the Crown Pro brushes since I'm still pretty new at contouring these are perfect for it. So the total value for this box is $133.98 not bad considering you only pay $21! Let me know in the comments below if you loved this months theme?

Women's Watches: Where to Shop for Unique Timepieces

Tick tock, tick tock. Time is slowly creeping up and I'm making sure to make the most out of it. As a mommy of two, I stop and stare at my two beautiful daughters I began to reminisce on the day they were both born. Oh such tiny little babies they were and all I can think is poof they've grown in a blink of an eye. I am soaking up every moment and making memories with them because I want them to always remember all the good TIMES we've experienced. Thanks to JORD on my wrist, it is a daily reminder to cherish my precious time. JORD is based in St. Louis. They design sophisticated watches with mix of natural, and largely re-claimed materials, combined with quality movements and components. JORD are best known for their unique hand crafted wooden watches. I consider myself minimalistic when it comes to watches. When I saw THE CASSIA it caught my attention because I knew it was perfect for me! It is thoughtfully styled with a Scandinavian design in mind. The band is ...
