IPSY / January's Glam Bag

IPSY is starting off the year with a bang! I absolutely love this month's glam bag. They really are nailing my profile these past couple of months.
This month's theme was game face, getting active whether it's kick boxing or yoga. The bag is very sporty with blue mesh and neon pink and yellow. The zipper handle is so cute, it's a shoe lace!
As usual they include five items based on your quiz profile. However I got a bonus item because I've been accumulating IPSY points! Quick run through on how they work, always always make sure you review your items and share on social media. Also if someone uses your refer link (cough here) you earn 250 if they subscribe. They have a special page for you to redeem your points often times everyone is redeeming left and right so when they update the shop go go and redeem your points otherwise you'll luck out.
The six items included in this months glam bag were body balm, dry shampoo, eyeshadow, contour palette, eye liner, and boosting mist. (Disclosure: This review was not Sponsored by IPSY I paid for my glam bag and all opinions are mine)
CAKE BY CAKE BEAUTY
Heavy Cream Intensive Body Balm
This sweet-smelling lotion melts into your skin like butter on pancakes. It soothes, smoothes, and hydrates on the spot. Take that, dry winter skin! It smells oh so good without being over-the-top. They included subtle scented ingredients like aloe vera, coconut oil, shea butter, and green tea extract.
TARTE  (Bonus item from my IPSY points)
Rainforest of the Sea™ Marine Boosting Mist
This multipurpose setting spray primes, sets, hydrates, and refreshes skin. It locks down makeup for 12 hours, while smoothing the look of fine lines and wrinkles. This formula's vegan, hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested and sulfate free.
CITY COLOR COSMETICS
Contour Palette
It’s made up of pressed, fine powders that feel velvety-smooth and light on your skin. The contour, bronzer, and highlight shades are highly-pigmented. They can be used wet for an even more color payoff. The shimmery highlight shade captures light to give you an out-of-this-world glow. I don't contour but have considered trying it out. So this is the perfect little palette to play around with.
ORIBE HAIR CARE
Gold Lust Dry Shampoo
Mom life can sometimes make it hard to wash your hair (no shame in that), this dry shampoo soothes your scalp while it’s absorbing oil. There’s no white powdery residue, so it works on all hair colors. The scent is so pleasant and makes you feel as though you've washed your hair. Also, thanks to something called “Fragrance-Retention Technology,” the fragrance will last all day long.
 CIATÉ LONDON
Fierce Flicks Liquid Eyeliner
The precise felt tip makes getting symmetrical cat eyes really easy. This is a long-wearing formula that also dries quickly and won’t smudge or transfer. The intense, inky black shade gives your eyes instant definition. I'm all for quick but precise cat eyes otherwise don't bother lol.

DIRTY LITTLE SECRET COSMETICS
Eyeshadow in Sangria
It’s highly-pigmented, long-lasting, and very buildable eyeshadow. Just simply swipe it allover your lids for a wash of color, or layer it on for a dramatic look that lasts all night. Sangria is a deep, plummy shade that makes any eye color look even more gorgeous.
Overall fun little glam bag and all items were a hit in my book. They also included a motivational card to fill in the blank. Think of it as your New Year's resolution, I wrote that I will conquer Mom Life, because it can be challenging. I'm pretty excited about the bonus item making it extra special. I'm really excited about the dry shampoo since it's my first time using it definitely will get a lot of use because I'm a momma and sometimes washing my hair is out of the question. I haven't been using liquid eyeliner in a while so I'm definitely bringing back the cat eyes look. Lastly, trying out contouring see what the whole hype is all about, lol. Hope this review has been helpful if you've been considering IPSY.

Women's Watches: Where to Shop for Unique Timepieces

Tick tock, tick tock. Time is slowly creeping up and I'm making sure to make the most out of it. As a mommy of two, I stop and stare at my two beautiful daughters I began to reminisce on the day they were both born. Oh such tiny little babies they were and all I can think is poof they've grown in a blink of an eye. I am soaking up every moment and making memories with them because I want them to always remember all the good TIMES we've experienced. Thanks to JORD on my wrist, it is a daily reminder to cherish my precious time. JORD is based in St. Louis. They design sophisticated watches with mix of natural, and largely re-claimed materials, combined with quality movements and components. JORD are best known for their unique hand crafted wooden watches. I consider myself minimalistic when it comes to watches. When I saw THE CASSIA it caught my attention because I knew it was perfect for me! It is thoughtfully styled with a Scandinavian design in mind. The band is ...
