Allure x Kat Von D June Beauty Box Review + $5 Coupon

If you're a fan of Kat Von D and her beauty line then you're going to love June's Allure Beauty Box. I've been eyeing Allure Beauty Box for some time, and decided to give it a try once I found out that Kat Von D would be taking over June's beauty box. I've tried her latest brow pomade (full review here) and Saint perfume (full review here), so you know this momma wasn't going to pass up on this beauty box.
If you aren't familiar with Allure Beauty box it is a $15 dollar subscription the editors curate the box with their hottest and trendiest beauty and skincare products. Usually the box comes with five mix delux or full size products. However if you have never been an Allure subscriber then they discount $5 off your first month and give you a special gift for joining their glam squad.
This month it was the Allure x Kat Von D beauty box. It included four of Kat's favorite products from her beauty line; Everlasting line lip liner, Studded Kiss Lipstick, Tattoo eyeliner, a mini mirror, Ole Henriksen face scrub, and a Tarte Mascara as a new membership gift. (Disclaimer this is not a sponsored post I paid for my box all opinion are mine I'm sharing because it's caring.)

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper Black:$20
If you are all about winging life or eyeliner then you'll absolutely love this eyeliner. It has a very fine felt tip to give you a precise cat eye. Not only that you can also get in between your lashes since the tip is so fine. The formula is really rich and pigmented so expect a true black. Another great thing to love about this eyeliner it is flake free and waterproof so no smudging on your eyelids. Expect to have eyeliner for days because this tube won't dry right away.
Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liner in Lolita:$18
All lip liners are not all created equally, this one has a velvety texture. You can smoothly outline your lips or better yet all over your lips it's that smooth. If you want your lipstick to last longer simply apply multiple layers lipstick over pencil. Did I mention that I love lip liners that don't require sharpening! No fussing around to look for a pesky sharpener.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Créme Lipstick in Double Dare:$19
Can we talk about how rock 'n' roll this lipstick tube is! Such a cool studded lipstick tube hence it's name. A girl could never have enough nudes in her collection right? Well this one is a dusty rose shade, and it's perfect for everyday. The one included in the box is a tiny one, but I'm pretty sure it will get a lot of use. It's great to toss it in your purse for touch ups, since it's tiny it does not take up too much space. The formula Is so smooth and creamy. The color is also pigmented, with a satin-matte finish.
SWATCH TIME!
TOP: Lipstick in Double Dare
BOTTOM: Lip Liner in Lolita

Kat Von D Travel Mirror:$18
This mirror was inspired by wax seals on old school letters. It is the right size that you can carry in your purse and see your whole face. I like how it is a classic black because it will never clash with your purse.
Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub:$28
This is a facial exfoliator made from walnut shells, sounds like a rough paste but it has been grounded to powder for a smoother spread. It rinses off easily and doesn't irritate your skin leaving it red. It also contains aloe and glycerin to help soften and soothe skin. It smells sweet but not overwhelming like you want to eat it lol. I really liked that it is a FULL size because it's amazing and I would have already have gone through it all had it been a sample. This is my go to at the moment to help prep my skin before applying makeup.
Tarte Mascara full size $23
This was a bonus gift for first time subscribers, it was a mystery gift. Between Kat Von D's Perfume or Tarte Mascara. Which I would have been happy with either one. I already own a mini Saint and full size Tartiest Paint mascara. This was a small sample mascara but again great for your purse. I'm currently using my full size from my BOXYCHARM check out full review here! I really like the wand it is a patent silicon with multi length bristles. It does intensify your lashes, lengths, and gives them volume. The only thing I dislike is the fall out. Other than that I'm pretty happy to have this one as a back up!
Ok so this isn't exactly a full look because I forgot to apply the Tattoo Eyeliner, I was running late that day. I did however manage to take a selfie!! I really want to start to showcase more full looks using the products mentioned. I feel like it could really helps YOU determine if it's something you'd like to purchase. I'll update the photo using the Tattoo eyeliner soon.
For being my first Allure Beauty Box, it was really awesome. They made a great choice in collaborating with Kat Von D and hopefully they continue their momentum in future boxes. If you have been wanting to try Kat Von D beauty line this would have been a great box for you, unfortunately this box has been sold out due to popularity.
The box is valued at $95 because of the bonus item and you're only paying $15. I hope you enjoyed this review if you've been wanting to try Allure Beauty Box or any of these products mentioned.

Keep Me Safe Organics / Skin Care Review

Hello darlings, today I have a beauty product review from Keep Me Safe Organics!

The company carries organic, toxic free beauty and skincare products. I believe that taking care of your face is important since it is the first thing everyone sees so make it a lasting impression. I'll be reviewing their skincare line, which are the facial cleanser, facial toner, facial moisturizer, serum, and rejuvenating glacier mud mask. (Disclosure, all products provided by Keep Me Safe OrganicsAll my opinions are mine and I'm keeping it 100%.)
In order to give you my honest opinion, I tested the products for three days and made a video documenting my results after using all the products. I will post the video below. Let's talk about my skin issues before using the products; I suffered from dry flaky skin, red blotchy patches on my cheeks and of course acne. I'll be reviewing each item and tell you a bit more about them.

LBD Goodwill Challenge

Happy Thursday fashionista's! I've been a bit MIA on my blog lately, but today I'm back with an exciting post. If you have been following my blog for a while then you might remember me talking about Phoenix Fashion Week. Each year they host a challenge, which consist of illustrating your perfect little black dress. They choose the top four illustrations which then you get to bring to life. In which the designers showcase it in Phoenix Fashion Week's annual fashion show. This year they had a completely different challenge.

The little black dress challenge was presented by Goodwill of Central Arizona and Phoenix Fashion Week. You had to shop at one of 67 locations, find a project dress, up-cycle, re-purpose it into your own perfect little black dress. The dresses would then be turned in by Saturday 26, 2015. Which would then be judged by up-cycle expert Angela Johnson. They select the top four designs. Once chosen 25% of the votes would come from social media and 75% …
