This month's GLOSSYBOX limited edition box featured none other than fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld and iconic Australian beauty brand ModelCo. This was a limited edition beauty collection of 2018. This is a one time purchase of $35 or $30 if you are currently subscribed to GLOSSYBOX.
The theme for Karl Lagerfeld + ModelCo was Illuminated Beauty. This was an exciting box because of Karl Lagerfeld's vision and aesthetic combined with the innovative cosmetic brand ModelCo, you're definitely in for a treat. The box included lipstick, lip liner, eyeliner, blush, blush brush and a lip gloss. Below I'll share more information, do a mini review, and swatches. Lip Couture Lipstick Red:$15
There's something seductive and sexy about a red lipstick. This is a must have in your collection because it's the perfect shade of red. It is highly pigmented, creamy and long-lasting. With a pretty matte finish.
Lip Liner Red:$29
I really like that they included a matching red lip liner, it really helps create a clean look. This lip liner is made out of a soft wax, which creates a creamy formula. It glides on like butter so rich and decadent. Best of all no sharpener needed!
Lip Gloss Ramatuelle:$15
Not feeling the red, no problem they've included a rose nude lip gloss. For a lip gloss it is really pigmented, creamy, and has a satin finish. Fun fact: it is named after Karl's favorite summer gettaway in the Mediterranean.
Long-lasting Liquid Liner: $30
If you are not a pro at eyeliner then this felt-tip is a great choice. It gives you a more precise application due to it's angled felt-tip. Once it is on you won't have to worry about it coming off because it is waterproof. A little fashion history: the origins of the cat eye look can be traced back to ancient Egypt. It goes to show you that a cat eye never goes out of style. So keep on meowing it!
Baked Blush in Rose Pink:$44
This baked blush will add some glow to your cheeks this summer. It brightens and highlights your complexion, because it is formulated with micronized color pigments. So shine on all day and night.
Blush Brush:$31
Since they included the blush they also included a blush brush! Not only is it great for applying blushes but bronzers, and highlighters as well. I really liked how it is angled for a more precise application. The bristles are so soft and really picks up the product wonderfully.
