24-Hour Super Brow Long Wear Pomade by Kat Von D Beauty Review

My eyebrows have been through a lot from accidently being over shaved once upon a time by my dear sister lol to over plucked, and dyed. They aren't what they used to be, they are patchy and uneven. If you can relate with stubborn eyebrows then this post is dedicated to you and the hairs we've lost along the way!
Thanks to the miracle of makeup we can all rock beautiful and fuller eyebrows! But, how do you achieve this? Me personally, it takes me four steps; first brushing with a spooly, filling them in with my Benefits Cosmetics universal eyebrow pencil. Then filling them in with an eyebrow powder by Wet n' Wild. Finally taming them with a clear brow gel by Chella. Sometimes, "ain't nobody got time for all that." Especially when you're in a rush or mom life you, feel me! So now I've found a better solution, 24-Hour Super Brow Long Wear Pomade by Kat Von D. (Disclosure products provided by Kat Von D Beauty all opinions are 100% mine)
I've been trying out this new brow pomade in the shade medium brown. Along with the Kat Von D pomade brow brush in #70. The formula is really pigmented so a little goes a long way. If you are new to pomade like myself start out with applying a small amount onto the brush. Start filling in and sculpting your eyebrows. Applying pressure will result in darker eyebrows so play around and get familiar with this new technique.
One of the things that stood out for me was that it does live up to its name 24-Hours long wear. Wether you live in hot AZ or hitting up the gym, have no fear that your eyebrows won't disappear because it is waterproof! It is also budge proof and smudged proof. Let's just say these eyebrows won't come off until you want them to.

If you happen to have red or blue hair, don't worry they offer 16 different shades. Seven natural eyebrow tones, 7 artistic colors, white out for mixing and customizing and a bleached shade for a bleach look. Like they say there are no rules to makeup, so get creative with your eyebrows.

The #70 Brow Brush and the brow pomade are a match made in heaven. The bristles are high-quality, making it easy to glide on. Since it is an angle brush it is perfect for filling in patchy spots, drawing hair-like stokes and carving out effortlessly bold arches.
So if you are ready for a one step, effortless, bold, and smudged proof brow then you must try Kat Von D's new brow pomade. They are available at Sephora or Kat Von D Beauty website for $19 the 24-Hour Super Brow Long Wear Pomade and $18 #70 brow brush. Hope this review has been helpful if you've been considering brow pomade. How do you brow, comment below? Have you've ever tried a brow pomade?

LBD Goodwill Challenge

Happy Thursday fashionista's! I've been a bit MIA on my blog lately, but today I'm back with an exciting post. If you have been following my blog for a while then you might remember me talking about Phoenix Fashion Week. Each year they host a challenge, which consist of illustrating your perfect little black dress. They choose the top four illustrations which then you get to bring to life. In which the designers showcase it in Phoenix Fashion Week's annual fashion show. This year they had a completely different challenge.

The little black dress challenge was presented by Goodwill of Central Arizona and Phoenix Fashion Week. You had to shop at one of 67 locations, find a project dress, up-cycle, re-purpose it into your own perfect little black dress. The dresses would then be turned in by Saturday 26, 2015. Which would then be judged by up-cycle expert Angela Johnson. They select the top four designs. Once chosen 25% of the votes would come from social media and 75% …
