IPSY/ March Unbagging Review + Giveaway

"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human's soul."  -Dieter F. Uchtdorf
IPSY's March glam bag theme is to CREATE, Priscilla Witte designed the beautiful artwork on IPSY's March bag. She wanted the design to reflect unique beauty, hip hair, different shapes, lots of different styles and interesting people.
The artwork was black and white but they've included markers to keep the creative vibes going. So go ahead and get those creative juices going! For my glam bag I decided to keep it colorful and vibrant! It was fun and relaxing to add some color to it.
CITY COLOR COSMETICS
Glow Duo
Looking for a summer glow? This highlighter palette has the best of both worlds one pan holds a creamy highlighter, and the other a powder highlighter. You can use them alone or together for an even more vibrant look. The shimmer on these are spot on and they are intensified, so a little goes a long way. The formulas are smooth and blendable, great for layering together.
BRTC
Jasmine Waterful Foaming Cleanser
This foamy cleanser removes almost all of your makeup even the stubborn ones, leaving skin feeling fresh. The formula exfoliates without stripping away natural oils, keeping your pores clean and your skin hydrated. It’s dermatologist-tested, non-drying, and gentle on sensitive skin. I've actually tried their water sleeping mask and loved waking up to it so I'm excited to see this brand again in my IPSY's glam bag.
MEG COSMETICS
Good Night PM Mask
After long days, our skin needs to recharge and this sheet mask helps nourish and revitalize your skin before bed, so you look bright and fresh in the AM. This has avocado fruit extract which firms up your skin, and camellia sinensis leaf water helps improve elasticity. It’s very hydrating, without leaving a greasy residue on your skin. I enjoy a little ME time at night while the little ones sleep.

FURLESS
Loose Pigment in Sinister
I'm a huge fan of bronze eyeshadows, and this one is warm, shimmery, and very pigmented. It swatches gorgeously, and if you are looking for a wet look apply it with water. It's vegan, cruelty-free, and the packaging is made from eco-friendly materials.
TARTE COSMETICS
Sex Kitten Eyeliner
Get a sexy cat eye look, meow! It is inky black and creamy, it glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling. Whether you are sweating, crying, or having an lol-fest this little black eyeliner is waterproof so no need to worry cue the waterworks!
Swatch Time:
Top: Creamy Highlighter
Middle: Powder Highlighter
Bottom:  Loose Eyeshadow
This month's IPSY glam bag was definitely different and exciting to see sheet masks and skincare products. I truly enjoy a good skincare routine and SPA days in the comfort of my home it is very relaxing, it makes me feel good and refreshed. I believe it's important to take care of your skin especially if you wear makeup. While I enjoy expressing myself through makeup I want to be able to be happy with my natural bareface and it all starts with good lotions and potions!

  4. This was my first time using Ipsy, and I must say that it is worth the subscription. I reviewed the items on the Ipsy site, and I am already looking forward to next month and trying out these products. I'm slightly overwhelmed because my different subscriptions have all sent my stuff this week, but it's nice to get others' opinions, too.

Women's Watches: Where to Shop for Unique Timepieces

Tick tock, tick tock. Time is slowly creeping up and I'm making sure to make the most out of it. As a mommy of two, I stop and stare at my two beautiful daughters I began to reminisce on the day they were both born. Oh such tiny little babies they were and all I can think is poof they've grown in a blink of an eye. I am soaking up every moment and making memories with them because I want them to always remember all the good TIMES we've experienced. Thanks to JORD on my wrist, it is a daily reminder to cherish my precious time. JORD is based in St. Louis. They design sophisticated watches with mix of natural, and largely re-claimed materials, combined with quality movements and components. JORD are best known for their unique hand crafted wooden watches. I consider myself minimalistic when it comes to watches. When I saw THE CASSIA it caught my attention because I knew it was perfect for me! It is thoughtfully styled with a Scandinavian design in mind. The band is ...
