Tunic Top DIY + Pattern Review 2147

I’m over joy about being a mommy; however one of the biggest challenges has been finding nice, fashion forward maternity clothes or maternity clothes in general. I’ve been a bit hesitant about making my own clothes simply because I didn’t want to invest the time nor the money sewing something that I would only wear for just a while. However I so happened to have a free day, a pattern that worked great as a maternity top and I had the perfect knit print fabric in my stash just screaming to be cut and sewn.

The pattern I used was Simplicity 2147 it was perfect as a maternity top or dress because the design was loose giving enough room to my ever growing belly. Originally I wanted to make it into a dress, but I ended up not having enough fabric so I had to compromise with a tunic. I went with view B for short sleeves, and view C for the length. I really loved the simplicity of the top with it pleats on the front and back. Using a print fabric took this basic tunic to another level. It only took me 2hrs to cut and sew which was awesome. I’m planning on wearing this tunic with leggings or skinny jeans, and adding a skinny belt to give it a more fashion forward touch. Not only that once the baby is here I can trim down the excess fabric and make it small so it’s a win, win. Do you know of any other patterns that could work great for maternity, if so please share?

Pattern: Simplicity 2147
Fabric: Print Cotton Knit
Pattern Size: I cut a size 18 with no alterations
View: B for the sleeves and C for the length
Would I recommend it: Yes I would it’s so simple to sew it took me 2hrs to cut & sew.

Keep Me Safe Organics / Skin Care Review

Hello darlings, today I have a beauty product review from Keep Me Safe Organics!

The company carries organic, toxic free beauty and skincare products. I believe that taking care of your face is important since it is the first thing everyone sees so make it a lasting impression. I'll be reviewing their skincare line, which are the facial cleanser, facial toner, facial moisturizer, serum, and rejuvenating glacier mud mask. (Disclosure, all products provided by Keep Me Safe OrganicsAll my opinions are mine and I'm keeping it 100%.)
In order to give you my honest opinion, I tested the products for three days and made a video documenting my results after using all the products. I will post the video below. Let's talk about my skin issues before using the products; I suffered from dry flaky skin, red blotchy patches on my cheeks and of course acne. I'll be reviewing each item and tell you a bit more about them.

Women's Watches: Where to Shop for Unique Timepieces

Tick tock, tick tock. Time is slowly creeping up and I'm making sure to make the most out of it. As a mommy of two, I stop and stare at my two beautiful daughters I began to reminisce on the day they were both born. Oh such tiny little babies they were and all I can think is poof they've grown in a blink of an eye. I am soaking up every moment and making memories with them because I want them to always remember all the good TIMES we've experienced.
Thanks to JORD on my wrist, it is a daily reminder to cherish my precious time. JORD is based in St. Louis. They design sophisticated watches with mix of natural, and largely re-claimed materials, combined with quality movements and components.
JORD are best known for their unique hand crafted wooden watches.
I consider myself minimalistic when it comes to watches. When I saw THE CASSIA it caught my attention because I knew it was perfect for me! It is thoughtfully styled with a Scandinavian design in mind. The band is so unique …
